As stated by the Archive, “the work is the sketch for a propaganda poster of which, to date, no publication is known. Dedicated to the Auxiliary Corps of the Blackshirt Action Squads, it was probably made on commission. It exalts the movement of the militia towards an ideal city with towers, whose static nature contrasts with the dynamism below.”
