Silver puerperal cup with saucer, Turin, late 18th–early 19th century

Circular body with two stylized geometric scroll handles; embossed lid with linear motifs alternating with blind oval reserves, surmounted by a laurel wreath; lid finial in the form of a pomegranate. The cup: 12x24 cm; the saucer: diameter 24 cm; total weight 872 g. Preserved in the original leather-covered case.
