Imposing clock and pair of candelabra in gilded bronze, France, 19th century

The clock features a finely chiseled arched case centered by a lion's mask, supporting the figure of Venus with a nymph and Cupid, flanked by two putti seated on a dolphin. Circular dial with white and blue enamel pastilles and Roman numerals, set within a cartouche of scrolling foliage adorned with floral garlands, surmounted by an Allegory of Love represented by kissing putti. Each candelabrum has ten lights, with a stem in the form of a satyr embracing a nymph, richly chiseled with scrolls, rocailles, and foliate motifs. Clock: approx. 86x66 cm; candelabra: h. 77 cm. (clock missing winding key; mechanism missing pendulum, requires servicing; four bobèche plates and one candelabrum arm missing.)
